What got you interested in this field?
My first exposure to finance and investing goes back to my childhood, watching my grandfather spend hours in his den tracking his investments. He prioritized stewardship and generosity to support family and missions. After spending fifteen years in the healthcare industry, I was looking to make a change to a role within my direct community where I could utilize the priorities instilled in me by my grandfather to help further God’s kingdom and was blessed to be able to join CapTrust Wealth Advisors!
Family
My wife Taliyah and I were married in 2019 in New Buffalo, MI. Our son, Walter, was born on Christmas Eve in 2022, which made for a unique and blessed Christmas! We could have done without driving to and home from the hospital in a snowstorm, but it is all part of our story. We have two dogs, a cavapoo named Spoon and a standard poodle named Pivo. They bring a lot of joy (and chaos) to our lives! We moved to Holland from the east side of the state in 2023 and love being part of this community.
Hobbies and Relaxation
My current creative outlet is off-loom weaving. My wife and I enjoy taking long walks and spending as much time playing with our son as possible. I am also a big soccer fan and follow Bayern Munich. I was able to attend two matches in Munich in 2018 which was an amazing experience.
