I especially enjoy traveling throughout Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, with winter being my favorite time to visit. I love exploring places like Marquette and Tahquamenon Falls and experiencing the beauty and quiet of the U.P. during the winter months.
What got you interested in this field?
I’ve always enjoyed bringing order to complex situations and finding ways to make things work better. My career in finance grew naturally from those strengths, and over time I became equally passionate about the people side of an organization. I love that my role allows me to bring the two together, collaborating with others and helping create an environment where people and the organization can thrive.
Family
Our blended family is one of the greatest blessings in my life. We have seven adult children: four daughters and three sons, as well as one grandson and our dog, Arlo. Family gives my life a deep sense of purpose, and I greatly value the time we spend together and the relationships we continue to build.
Hobbies and Relaxation
I find joy in the quiet gifts of an ordinary day: a meal prepared and shared, the discovery of a new place, the stillness of Northern Michigan, birds gathering outside the window, and the pages of a good book. I’m drawn to the small moments that ask us to slow down and pay attention, where beauty, gratitude, and the sense of God’s presence can so easily be found.
